Our neighbors to the East in Fayetteville can celebrate with a new industry anouncement.
Stella-Jones Corporation is expanding in Tennessee with a new steel lattice tower manufacturing facility planned for Lincoln County, state and company leaders announced this week.
The Canadian-based infrastructure products manufacturer said the project will bring nearly 230 jobs and a $45 million investment to Fayetteville, with the site expected to be fully commissioned by the end of 2027.
Governor Bill Lee and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Stuart C. McWhorter joined company officials in announcing the expansion, calling it another sign of Tennessee’s continued momentum in attracting major employers.
Local and regional partners involved in the project include TVA, Fayetteville Public Utilities, the Fayetteville-Lincoln County Industrial Development Board, and the Middle Tennessee Industrial Development Association.
Stella-Jones, founded in 1992 in Montreal, Quebec, manufactures infrastructure products including treated wood utility poles and crossarms and steel lattice towers, along with railway ties and residential lumber. The company operates 45 manufacturing locations across North America, according to the press release.
