The Giles County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed the arrest of Alfredo Torres following an anonymous tip received regarding his whereabouts.
Mr Torres was wanted on charges of domestic assult, aggrevated burglary, false imprisonment, and vandalism.
Upon receiving the tip, Giles County investigators coordinated immediately with the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies in Limestone County responded to the provided location and successfully located and arrested Torres based on outstanding warrants issued out of Giles County.
Mr. Torres is currently being held in the Limestone County Jail pending extradition to the Giles County Jail.
The Giles County Sheriff’s Office extends its appreciation to the individual who provided the tip, as well as to the Limestone County Sheriff's Office for their prompt response and assistance in taking Mr. Torres into custody.
