Three Former Giles County Puppies Are Headed to National TV.
Thanks to an incredible partnership with BISSELL Pet Foundation Cathy Bissell and the amazing team at Brandywine Valley SPCA , three former Giles County puppies will be appearing on this year's Stanley Pup June 8th.
Thelma, Louise, and Possum were all found as strays right here in Giles County. Through the lifesaving partnerships that help connect shelter pets with opportunities beyond our community, these three puppies made the trip to Delaware back in April to participate in the filming of the Stanley Pup.
Since filming, all three puppies have found loving adoptive homes and are now living the lives every shelter dog deserves.
As if the experience wasn't exciting enough, Louise even got some special love and attention from Kenan Thompson during filming.
These puppies are proof that every dog deserves a chance. What started as three stray puppies with an uncertain future became a national television appearance, countless new fans, and most importantly, forever homes.
We are incredibly grateful to Cathy Bissell, the Bissell Pet Foundation, Brandywine Valley SPCA, and everyone who helped make this opportunity possible.
Be sure to tune in on June 8th and watch for Thelma, Louise, and Possum during the Stanley Pup.
