After much discussion and consideration, the WKSR Auction Committee has selected The Giles County Fire & Rescue Squad as the recipient of the WKSR Community Radio Auction for 2027.
In all, several applications were submitted, and all were very deserving.
The Giles County Fire & Rescue Squad will now begin preparing for the WKSR Community Radio Auction for 2027.
In the weeks and months to come the Giles County Fire & Rescue Squad will begin the process of seeking donations for the two Sunday event that takes place February 21st & 28th, 2027.
WKSR thanks everyone who applied for the WKSR Community Radio Auction, and encourages everyone to continue to submit their applications for future WKSR Coummunity Radio Auctions.
