In an effort to increase membership and to further assist our student athletes, the Giles County High School Athletic Booster Club is reaching out to ask for your support in highlighting some of our recent achievements. The list of achievements includes, but is not limited to the following:
In 2023, the Booster Club provided a much-needed sound system for the Hardin-Mayfield Gymnasium.
In 2024, the Booster Club was able to provide the majority of the funds for the construction of the softball concession stand at the campus softball field, and the Booster Club was also able to fund the purchase of football sleds (a five-man sled and a two-man sled) for the football team, tumbling mats for the cheerleaders, equipment for the girls and boys basketball teams, as well as cover some travel expenses for playoff games.
In 2025, the Booster Club provided video equipment and additional equipment to both the girls and boys basketball teams, along with travel expenses for playoff games; we also provided equipment and uniforms for the baseball team.
So far, in 2026, the Booster Club has provided two canopies for the cross-country team, as well the majority of the funds to cover the installation of HVAC in the GCHS field house, a facility used by the majority of the athletic teams at GCHS.
While we are proud of these accomplishments on the part of the Club, please know they could not have been made possible without the generous support of our community, the hard work of the Booster Club members (both present and past), and the family members of the athletic teams who volunteer.
We are always looking for new faces and fresh ideas to continue to support and provide for GCHS athletics. If anyone would like to join our organization, or assist in any manner, please contact one of the Booster Club members, by email at gchsathleticboosterclub24@gmail.com or on our Facebook page at Giles County High School Athletic Booster Club.
