A new song released today has a direct tie to Giles County, and a fictional spin on events of the past in Pulaski.
Troubadour Blue, a group with strong ties to Giles County and Pulaski has released their new song "Flowers In Pulaski"
worldwide.
Sonically, the track lives at the intersection of bluegrass, country, and roots rock, pairing Troubadour Blue’s harmony-driven sound and storytelling with the unmistakable grit of the Grammy Award-winning band The SteelDrivers.
The collaboration is a natural extension of a relationship built over more than four years on the road, with Troubadour Blue serving as a main touring support act for The SteelDrivers. After years of sharing stages, bringing the two bands together in the studio felt like an easy next step. The SteelDrivers’ signature instrumentation and powerhouse vocals blend seamlessly with Troubadour Blue’s three-part harmonies and acoustic roots, giving “Flowers In Pulaski” an especially hard-hitting sound.
Troubadour Blue definitely wants listeners to also know that this story is FICTIONAL and the use of Dickey's Flowers as the setting is just a fun nod to the Giles County community and my family.
Troubadour Blue out on tour this fall and spring of 2027 with Wynonna Judd, and the new song "Flowers In Pulaski" is spinning now on WKSR.
