Historic Downtown Pulaski has approved 17 Downtown Improvement Grant projects totaling nearly $358,000 in building improvements and reinvestment across downtown. Construction and restoration work has started and will continue throughout the year.
The Downtown Improvement Grant program helps property owners improve storefronts and historic buildings through projects like façade renovations, masonry repair, painting, windows, signage, awnings, and more, with reimbursements covering up to 75% of approved costs.
Grants have been approved for several businesses on North & South First Street, North & South Second Street, and West Madison Street.
Community members are encouraged to continue supporting downtown businesses as projects move forward. More grant rounds and future funding opportunities will be announced later in 2026.
