According to County Executive Graham Stowe....
There was another rain delay, so the insurance work on the Giles County Courthouse roof didn't get done. The contractor has now rescheduled for this weekend, August 1st & 2nd.
The contractor who will be replacing shingles says the courthouse grounds will be closed during demolition due to potential for falling debris.
Please note that shingle replacement is due to storm damage and covered by insurance. This work is NOT part of the renovation project on the Courthouse.
