The Tennessee Board of Parole will conduct executive clemency hearings August 18th & 19th at its downtown Nashville central office, located at James Robertson Parkway in the Davy Crockett Tower.
The clemency hearings are open to the public and will be conducted in the Chairman Richard Montgomery Board Room, located on the fourth floor. The schedule and times are as follows:
Tuesday, August 18th @ 11am....Executive Clemency Hearings
Wednesday, August 19th@ 9am....Executive Clemency Hearings
The Board is responsible for reviewing all clemency requests (pardons, commutations, and exonerations) and submits non-binding recommendations to the Governor for his consideration. Only the Governor can exercise Executive Clemency power.
