With the Campbellsville Heritage Festival approaching, the association especially encourages community members who would like to volunteer, help with planning or learn more about ways they can participate in the festival.
The Campbellsville Heritage Festival will be held from 11am to 3pm Saturday, October 3rd. The annual festival, traditionally held on the first Saturday in October, brings the community together to celebrate Campbellsville and its heritage.
The Campbellsville Area Association will hold weekly planning meetings during September as preparations for the festival move into the final weeks. Each meeting will begin at 5:30pm, meeting dates are...September 8th, September 14th, September 21st, and September 28th.
Anyone interested in helping is welcome to attend any of the meetings. Volunteers will be needed for a variety of activities before and during the festival, and the meetings will provide an opportunity to learn what is planned, discuss volunteer needs and find a way to help that fits each person's interests and availability.
Whether someone can help with planning in advance, volunteer for a few hours on festival day or simply wants to become more involved in the Campbellsville community, the Campbellsville Area Association encourages them to attend.
Those who wish to be vendors can contact the Campbellsville Heritage Festival Association.
