A group of outstanding students from Giles County has been selected to attend Tennessee Boys State and Girls State, prestigious leadership and civic engagement programs sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary Post 60.
Students from Giles County High School and Richland High School will represent their community at this year’s programs, which bring together rising seniors from across the state to learn about government, leadership, and civic responsibility.
Representing Giles County High School are...Xavier Randolph, Graham Hoover, Katie McCloud, Bella Tate, Sarah Ella Reeves, Aniya Brooks, Charleigh Ferguson.
Representing Richland High School are...Geneva Dickey, Nathan Price, Milen Dickey, Maddy Borges, Grace Luffman, Rebecca Coker, Krysten Hood.
Delegates are selected based on academic achievement, leadership ability, character, and their involvement in school and community activities. Their selection reflects both their personal accomplishments and the strong support of their schools and families.
