Pulaski is one of the stops for this year's Blue Sky Series, The Tennessee Small Business Development Centers and Tennessee Department of Economic & Community Development have selected just a handful of communities across the state to host this year’s series, and MakeShift in Pulaski is one of them.
Wednesday, May 6th, the Giles County Chamber is proud to welcome this statewide initiative focused on supporting Main Street businesses. With stops in places like Oak Ridge and Chattanooga, this series is bringing targeted, high-level business resources to key communities.
The focus of the Pulaski stop will be Keeping Your Doors Open When Disruption Hits...
Main Street businesses face unique risks from flooding and fire to power outages and lost foot traffic. This session is designed for storefronts, restaurants, and service businesses that depend on physical location and customer access. Learn how to prepare for disruptions, communicate with customers, and reopen faster without being overwhelmed by planning.
Attendees will leave with: A 48-hour and 7-day reopening checklist, Customer communication templates, and
Guidance on documentation, insurance, and recovery support.
