Thella Mai Simbeck Garland, died March 24th, 2024 at STRHS in Pulaski. She was born in Loretto, a resident of both Lawrence and Giles County and a member of the Scott’s Hill/Shores community.  She was retired from Crockett Hospital.

Survivors include sons Troy Baxter and wife Shannon and Phil Baxter and wife Carol, step daughter- Sherri Kizer & Nickie, brothers, Harley Simbeck and wife Martha, Bob Simbeck and wife Mary Alice, Don Simbeck and wife Jane, sister, Ann Sue Ayers, 3 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and cousins survive.

Visitation will be at Loretto Memorial Chapel Tuesday March 26th from 5:00-8:00 pm.

Services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Loretto Wednesday March 27th at 2:00pm.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Lawrenceburg.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation or to plant wildflowers in her memory.
