A collaborative investigation of the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and Fayetteville City Police Department resulted in the arrest of an Alabama man and confiscation of more than two pounds of methamphetamine, a stolen handgun and cash.

Walter James Allen was identified as a source for the methamphetamine in Lincoln County and North Alabama, he was arrested February 16th.

Allen had more than two pounds of methamphetamine, with an approximately $25,000 street value, a stolen handgun and $390 U.S. currency in his possession.

Allen, was charged with possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, four counts of meth manufacturing, delivery, sale and possession with intent, employing a firearm with intent to go armed during a dangerous felony and theft up to $1,000.

Allen is being held on $872,500 bond.
