Gary Bernard Schmitz, age 81 of Goodspring died Friday April 12, 2024 at his home. He was born in Adrian, Michigan, a United States Air Force Veteran, graduated from Tecumseh High School, received his Bachelor of Art Degree from Florida State University, and was a former Human Resource Director at Ford Motor Company.

The family suggests instead of sending flowers everyone plant a tree in his memory or make a memorial contribution to your favorite charity.

No services are scheduled.

Survivors include his sisters, Patricia Schmitz Konczal, Kristina Schmitz Hasenkamp, and several nieces and nephews.
