Jimmy Duane Dunnavant, age 76 of Ardmore, died at his home, Monday, April 8th, 2024. He was born in Pulaski, attended Elkton Baptist Church. He was in Vietnam in 173rd Airborne of the Army and was a Staff Seargent. He received 2 Purple Hearts and the Bronze Star, and retired from the United States Post Office.
Survivors include his son, Jason and wife Paula Dunnavant, daughter, Susan Rolin, sister, Cecilia and husband Larry Hasting, 4 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday, April 13th, 2024 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore.
Visitation will be from 12 Noon until 2:00pm in the Chapel.
Burial will be in Dunnavant Cemetery, Prospect.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements for Jimmy Duane Dunnavant.
