Velma Newton Richardson Mitchell died December 28th, 2023. She was born in Giles County, a member of East Hill Church of Christ and retired from Pulaski Jr High Cafeteria and Fafnir.

Visitation will be 12 until 2pm Saturday December 30th, 2023 at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home.

Services will be at 2pm in the chapel.

Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.

Survivors include her son Terry Richardson of Arizona, 1 niece, 1 great niece, 1 nephew, several friends, and numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins.
