Robert Lewis McElroy, 82, of Nashville died at Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation & Healing in Nashville, December 14th, 2023. He was born in Giles County and was a graduate of Bridgeforth High School, and served in the United States Army from 1965 until 1968.

Survivors include his wife, Vickie Jenkins McElroy, daughters, Phyllis and husband William Franklin Brown, Karla Cotham, and Martha Jenkins all of Nashville, sons, Keith and wife Tracey McElroy of La Vergne, and DeCarlo Patton of Nashville, brother, Joseph and wife Minnie McElroy of Pulaski.

Memorial services, with military honors, will be held at Jackson Street Church of Christ, 1408 Jackson Street, Nashville, Saturday, December 30th, 2023, at 1:00pm.

Donating his body to science, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
