Rose Marie Ball Defoe of Athens, formally of Pulaski, died January 31st at her home in Limestone County. She was born in Pulaski and was 65 years old. She was employed at Marshall Manufacturing, Torrington Fafnir, and Frito-Lay.

Visitation will be Friday, February 3rd from 12:00pm until 1:00pm.

Services will be at 1:00pm in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband Jim Defoe of Athens, Daughters, Amanda Dover and husband David Word of Lexington, and Angela Dover and husband Chris Putman of Decatur, Son, Andrew Dover of Athens, 4 Grandchildren, Brother, Charles and wife Linda Ball of Pulaski, Sisters, Carolyn Ball Biles and husband Kenneth of Murfreesboro, and Mary Jane Ball White and husband Bobby of Anderson, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family also survive.
