Claud Leigh Millican, died May 15th. He was born in Columbia. He graduated from Giles County High School where he was a football player. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. He holds a BS and MA degree from Peabody College at Vanderbilt University and an MEE from Indiana University. He was a longtime member of Trinity United Methodist Church, American Legion Post #60 and the National Education Association.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah Ann Kelly Millican, several nieces and nephews, and numerous friends.
Visitation will be Friday, May 20th from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, New Albany, Indiana and after 11:00 AM Saturday, May 21st at Trinity United Methodist Church.
Services will be Saturday, May 21st at 12:00 PM at Trinity United Methodist Church.
Burial with military honors will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Pulaski, Tuesday, May 24th at 11:00 AM.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Trinity United Methodist Church or the New Albany/Floyd County Animal Shelter.
Kraft Funeral Service of New Albany, Indiana and Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home of Pulaski are in charge of arrangements for Claud Leigh Millican.
