Kent Shoup of the Bunker Hill Community died Friday at Huntsville Hospital.

He was born in Kansas and was 59 years old. Kent was employed as a service technician at Bobby Terry Heating and Cooling in Athens.


Visitation will be tomorrow (Tuesday) from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.


Services will be Wednesday at 2:00pm in the chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with Pastor Jack Shoup officiating.

He is survived by his, Wife, Dana Harwell Shoup of Bunker Hill, Daughter, Kinsley Shoup of Kansas, Son, Gregory Shoup of Guam, Mother, Geneva Wallace of Kansas, Father, Edward Lee Shoup of Arkansas, Brother, Jack and wife Patty Shoup of Kentucky, Brother, Keith and wife Leesa Shoup of Elkton, Sister, Kimberly and husband Jeffrey Schenk of Elkton, Several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.
