Barry Don “Catfish” Pierce, age 64 of Pulaski died Tuesday at Southern Tennessee Regional Hospital Pulaski. He was born in Giles County.


Barry Don was the Maintenance Supervisor at the Pulaski Housing Authority for 42 years. He was an avid golfer and a graduate of Giles County High School Class of 1972.


Visitation will be tomorrow (Friday) from 4:00 to 8:00pm at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.


The funeral service will be 11:00am Saturday in the chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.


Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Pulaski.


Survivors include a Son, Barry and wife Brandie McQuilkin of Summertown, Daughter, Dawn and husband Joel Wray of the Brick Church Community, Brother William G. "Bo" and wife Lavonne Pierce of Knoxville, Sister, Martene and husband Jeff Hatfield and of Pulaski, 4 Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, Partner of 25 years, Pam “PJ” Durbin of Pulaski and daughter, Shannon Durbin and 2 grandchildren.
