A man has been indicted for felony murder in Limestone County.

Talmage Townson is accused of killing 43-year-old Gregory Parks and taking his body to the Athens-Limestone hospital last month.

Investigators say Townson told them he found Parks’ body on the side of the road.

Officials with the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office say they determined that Townson allegedly gave Parks a deadly dose of Fentanyl, before trying to cover up his alleged crime.
