Lincoln County Medical Center has reopened after a threat was called in Tuesday morning, according to the Fayetteville Police Department.

Authorities said a call was made to Lincoln County Medical Center April 16, the caller referred to a “ticking clock.” Hospital security then called Fayetteville Police Department, who secured the area.

While Fayetteville Police Department searched the property, Fayetteville Fire and Rescue, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office and Lincoln County EMA and Paramedics were staged nearby.

The police department said that nothing suspicious was found and Lincoln County Medical Center was reopened.
