Ardmore Police with cooperation from other local law enforcement agencies captured a an armed robbery suspect Saturday.

Police got a 911 call that the Ardmore Burger King was robbed at gunpoint Saturday afternoon. Three officers who rushed to the scene relayed information back to dispatchers, who quickly connected the suspect with a Be On the Lookout for a stolen Jeep from Irondale.

ALEA troopers caught up with the suspect, Joseph Payne Bouchillon, and took him into custody without incident. He was taken to the Limestone County Jail and later sent to the Giles County, where he’s awaiting charges for the Burger King case. Those charges include Theft, Armed Robbery and Assault.
