There were no major power outages in Giles County due to the storms that rolled through in recent days, according to Pulaski Electric System President/CEO Richard Kelley.

There are two significant reports, he said, when two trees fell on lines Monday on Highway 166 North, which affected two customers, and on Puncheon Road in Minor Hill between 30 and 40 customers were affected when the lights went out.

The next meeting of the Power Board is at 5 p.m., Tuesday, July 25, in the second floor boardroom at PES.
