Tennessee Highway Patrolman Ashton Cotner arrested David Timothy Smalley, 49, of Lynnville during a routine stop Sunday morning and charged him with Driving Under the Influence.

Smalley was taken to the Giles County Jail and bond was set at $1,000 and is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on May 7.
