The Giles County Commission District 6 seat vacated by the late Danny Ray Cobb will be filled by a majority vote of commissioners at March 18 meeting.

Qualified citizens are those whose primary residence in District 6 and who are not prohibited by the Constitution and Laws of the state of Tennessee from running for office.

Anyone desiring to be nominated for the position of Giles County Commissioner District 6 should submit a letter to the County Executive's office, P.O.Box 678, Pulaski, TN 38478 no later than Friday, March 8 at 3 p.m.

Candidates should attend the March 18th  meeting, which begins at 9 a.m. in the County Courtroom. The person elected will be sworn in and immediately take the seat.
