Trailer trucks and cars were re-routed this morning (Thursday) through the city of Pulaski. An overturned eighteen wheeler on I-65 near mile marker 17 in the north bound lane was the reason for all the extra traffic through the city. Traffic was being diverted thru Elkton up highway 31 north, and at the 14 mile marker at Frankewing on to highway 64.

Reports were heavy traffic was creating problems at red lights and throughout town.

The Tennessee Department of Transportation provided additional information. The Tennessee Highway Patrol investigated the incident.
