After months of searching, the Limestone County Economic Development Association has announced Bethany Shockney as its newest president.

Her planned starting date is March 1.

Most recently, Shockney served as the executive director of the Giles County Economic Development Commission. She announced her resignation recently from the Giles County EDC, and will serve in a similar capacity in Limestone County.
