Giles Fire & Rescue received a call to a structure fire Friday afternoon around 1:30 at 1075 Rose Hill Rd.

By the time firemen arrived the house was totally involved, and could not be saved. Firemen requested tankers, and additional manpower to help put the fire out.

There were several people inside the house when it caught fire, but no one was injured.

Ethridge Fire Department assisted Giles Fire & Rescue with getting the fire put out. The house was a total loss.
