The Martin Methodist College athletic department announced its two newest members of the college’s Sports Hall of Fame Class Tuesday afternoon, as Dana Davis and Tom Thurman will be inducted on Saturday, Feb. 9, during Homecoming 2019.

These two will join a prestigious group that features 60-plus inductees, highlighted by former Olympians, National Champions, and school record holders. Davis and Thurman will be formally recognized midcourt during halftime of the 2 p.m. women's basketball game with Bethel (Tenn.) on Saturday, Feb. 9 in the Curry Christian Life Center.

Induction festivities kick off with the official induction luncheon. The luncheon will be held at 11 a.m. in the Giles Heritage Theater at First National Bank in Pulaski. The event is open to outside guests, with cost at $20 per person. Reservations can be made by calling 931-424-4062.

In addition to the inductees, another Martin Methodist alumni will be on campus February 9 at 7:00pm as 1984 alumnus Darryl Worley will perform a special Homecoming concert. A limited number of tickets for $25.00 each are still available for the event at the school’s official website.
