In the shadow of the moon is where our part of the state will be between 1 o'clock and 2 o'clock today as a total eclipse of the sun occurs just after the noon hour.

Children and teens are invited to the Giles County Public Library to watch the solar eclipse together. Bring your eclipse viewers or special glasses.

Afterward, the library will host an Eclipse After Party from 2-4 p.m. Pizza and refreshments will be served.

Tuesday at the library, a beginner's computer class will be taught from 8:45-10 a.m. You'll have to knock on the front door to be let in.

The class is self-directed covering topics for those with no or very limited computer experience.

Find out what science has to say about how your brain changes over time when Lois Aymett presents Aging Gracefully tomorrow at 5:30 p.m. at the library.
