The city of Spring Hill was presented an application for consideration, for a “Spring Hill Hot Air Balloon Spooktacular” at their Monday night meeting. The Spooktacular would be held at the Tennessee Children’s Home, if approved and would take place on October 27th. Vendors, food trucks, outdoor activities, and of course, hot air balloon rides would be available.

According to Logan Bedford of Middle Tennessee Hot Air Adventures they would like to feature 10 – 20 hot air balloons at the event if plans get approved.

A portion of the proceeds would go to supporting the Tennessee Children’s Home.

Making the Hot Air Balloon Spooktacular an annual event in the city of Spring Hill is the goal.

The vote to grant the special event permit will be decided during the board’s regular voting meeting on Monday, September 17.
