The Tennessee Stage and Film Company will present The Ryman Diaries at Pulaski’s STAAR Theatre at Antoinette Hall Friday-Saturday, Aug. 24-25.

The Ryman Diaries, is a multi-media historical show featuring seven original songs that tell the story of the romance of Capt. Tom Ryman and Bettie Baugh. Baugh is a southern belle debutante growing up in Franklin, who has all the advantages of being the daughter of the postmaster.

Together, they build an empire of paddle-wheel boats on the busy Cumberland River. Ryman, after hearing traveling evangelist Sam Jones, is moved to build Nashville’s Union Gospel Tabernacle, which was later re-named the Ryman Auditorium.

The Ryman Diaries, now in its fourth year of production will have three performances at the STARR Theater, Friday August 24 at 7:00, and Saturday August 25  at 2:00pm and 7:00. Tickets will be available for $8.00 for students and $12.00 adults, at the door or by calling 363-7222.
