Thursday at 12:00 noon was the deadline to qualify for the Pulaski and Ardmore city elections. These elections will be held in conjunction with the races for governor, state senator, and the election for 70th district state representative’s office featuring Clay Doggett and Democrat challenger Jessica Yokley.

Three seats on the Board of Mayor and Alderman and the mayor’s office are to be chosen. Pat Ford has qualified to run for mayor, and will be opposed by Vickie Harwell. She already has a seat on the city council. Hardin Franklin, Pat Miles, and Jerry Bryant have turned their papers in as well.

In the race for mayor and alderman in Ardmore there are four running for mayor, Tim McConnell is the incumbent, Kenneth Crosson, Mike Magnusson, and Paul VanManen.

Jason Sherman, Wayne Harvel, Shane Emerson, Spenser Smith, and Joe Stagner have qualified for 3 seats on the Board of Mayor & Alderman in Ardmore.

Early voting will be held October 17 thru November 1 for the state and local races with election day set for November 6.
