GCHS Tennis Splits Games with Hickman County

In GCHS tennis news, the boys swept the singles against Hickman County. Hank Alsup, Jackson Townsend, John Malski, Patrick Stanford, Brandon Fralix, and Stephen Smith allowed only 15 games total in all six matches. Brandon Fralix and Ittalo Clark won their doubles match 8-0 and played number 2 doubles. The Bobcats defeated Hickman County 7-2 and improve to 2-0 in district play.
In girls’ action, Nicole Clark lost in a tiebreaker for the highlight in singles. Kimberly Anderson and Nicole Clark took 6 games in the number 2 doubles slot. Bethany Russell provided a spark in her singles game and in doubles with her partner Meredith Smith. Hickman County won 9-0 . The girls are now are 1 and 1 for the year.
