PFD Investigates Gas at Health Department

Pulaski Fire Department members were called to the Giles County Health Department this morning to investigate a smell of gas. PFD Chief Don Collins said employees had the building evacuated when PFD members arrived on the scene.
The Gas Department was called to turn off the gas and a maintenance crew is looking into the cause, which Collins suspects was coming from a heating unit on the roof. Giles County Health Department Director Janet McAlister said the Health Department is open.
