Meetings Set for This Week

The proposed change to the beer ordinance is just one of several things the Pulaski Board of Mayor and Aldermen will discuss in today’s work session. The board tabled a vote on the proposed change last week so that they could discuss it further. The work session will take place today at 4:30 p.m. at city hall.
The Board of Zoning Appeals will meet tomorrow morning for a special called hearing. The board will hear from Michael Delaney, who is appealing a ruling that would not allow him to live in the old National Guard Armory since it isn’t zoned to be a residence. That meeting will take place at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow at city hall.
The Giles County Commission’s Budget Committee will meet Thursday morning in order to discuss the school budget amendments and any other business. That meeting will take place at 9:30 a.m. in the basement boardroom of the courthouse annex.
The Giles County Region Planning Commission will meet Thursday for their regular monthly meeting. That meeting will take place at 5:00 p.m. in the basement boardroom of the courthouse annex.
These meetings are all open to the public.
