Six Arrested on Felony Charges Posted on February 25, 2013
Six people were arrested on felony charges in Giles County over the weekend.
Tesha Nicole Smith, age 26 was arrested Friday. She is being charged with being a fugitive from justice and driving while her license is revoked, cancelled, or suspended. Smith is being held on $50 bond and is scheduled to appear in court March 5.
Shannon Douglas Sparkman, age 42, was arrested Saturday on charges of Schedule II drug violation. He was released on $1000 bond and will appear in court March 18.
Richard Galen Sauerwein, Jr., age 28, was arrested Sunday. He is being charged with intent to manufacture methamphetamine, driving under the influence, possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia, Schedule II drug violations, Schedule VI drug violations, and violation of the seatbelt law. Sauerwein is being held on $229,000 bond and is set to appear in court March 5.
Michael Patrick Heiser, age 41, was arrested today and is being charged with theft of property. Heiser’s court date has not yet been set.
Dustin James Ols, age 20, was arrested today and is being charged with violation of circuit court probation. He is being held without bond and will appear in court February 25.
Joseph Eugene Bowen, age 25, was arrested today and is being charged with violation of general session probation and violation of circuit court probation. Bowen is set to appear in court tomorrow and March 26.
