James Monroe Johnson, Jr.

Mr. James Monroe Johnson, Jr., age 92, died on Sunday, February 17, 2013. He was a retired factory worker and a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon.
The family will receive friends on, Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013 from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. at The Rose of Sharon Funeral Home Chapel. The Funeral Service is scheduled for Thursday, February 21, 2013 at 12:00 Noon at the Ebenezer Baptist Church, Goodsprings, Tennessee, with Pastor Fitzgerald Gilbert, Officiating. Burial will follow in the Good Springs Cemetery
Survivors are: his wife, Alma Jewell Johnson,
Two Daughters, Darlene Coleman and husband, Nathaniel, and Jewell McCoy,
Four Sons- Charles William Johnson, John Lewis Johnson, Kenneth Lamar Johnson and wife, Marylin, Wallace Johnson and wife, Shelia,
Four Sisters- Iva Lou Tucker, Laura Hollis and husband, Benjamin, Ida Bell Henderson and Maple Teasley,
Twelve Grand Children, Fifteen Great Grand children and two great great grand-children, and a host of other relatives and friends also survive.
The Rose of Sharon is in charge of the arrangements of James Monroe Johnson, Jr.
