John D. Solomon, age 78, passed away today at NHC Pulaski.
Visitation will be Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow visitation at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home, with Larry Evans and Robin Beats officiating. Burial will follow in Giles Memory Gardens.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Solomon of Pulaski; three sons: Gary Sutton and wife Peggy, Johnny Solomon, and Jeff Solomon; four daughters: Debra Holt and husband Danny, Vickie Johns and husband Donnie, Connie Woodridge, and Tracey Lanier and husband Brad; four sisters: Estereen Steelman, Mary Clark and husband Li, Shirley Barton, and Lois Clark; stepchildren: Robin Beats, Jackie Brown and husband Dixon, Leanne Allen and husband Raymond; special companion and mother of his children Kathrina Solomon; 26 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and friends also survive.
Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for John D. Solomon.
