Elkton Mayor & Aldermen Meet

The Elkton Board of Mayor and Aldermen renewed the capital outlay note for the city’s volunteer fire department building at last night’s meeting.
The city is trying to repay the approximately $52,506 note ahead of schedule.
Mayor Carolyn Thompson also reminded the public that 2012 city property taxes are due the end of February.
Board members also approved an ordinance to change the hours that the city recorder is in the office to reflect those in the city code.
