Martin Methodist returned home Thursday afternoon for a pair of baseball contests at the school's new East Campus Baseball Facility, sweeping a doubleheader against St. Francis.

In the opener, RedHawks designated hitter Jake Ray smacked an RBI single with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning to lift the RedHawks to a 4-3 win.

Blake Beavers scattered five hits and three runs over seven innings to pick up the win on the mound.

In the nightcap, the RedHawks scored seven combined runs in the fourth and sixth innings to rally for a 10-3 win.

Dalton Goss tossed four near-perfect innings of relief work to pick up the win for the RedHawks.

Both teams return for a second doubleheader Friday afternoon beginning at 1 p.m.
