RedHawks Sweep Cougars On Valentine's Day

The Martin Methodist men and women's basketball teams picked up a pair of wins Thursday night against Mid-Continent University.
Becca Smithson and Jessy Christopher scored 16 points each as the RedHawk women beat the Cougars, 64-52.
In the nightcap, Josh Watson scored 14 points to lift the RedHawks to a 64-50 win over the Cougars. The win kept the RedHawks in sole possession of first place in the TranSouth Athletic Conference heading into the final week of conference play.
The RedHawk men return to action Tuesday at home against Trevecca-Nazarene while the RedHawk women return to action next Thursday at Bethel.
