Humane Association to Hold Spay/Neuter Day Posted on February 11, 2013
The Giles County Humane Association is working with New Leash on Life, from Lebanon, to hold a Spay/Neuter Day in February for Giles County dogs.
New Leash on Life, along with a grant given by S.N.A.P. (Spay/Neuter Assistance Program) will travel to Pulaski to pick up 20 dogs to be transported back to Lebanon to be spayed or neutered and then returned to Pulaski the next day.
There will be a charge to the pet owner of $15 per dog (up to 5 dogs per household) to help cover the cost of gas and expenses to bring the New Leash on Life truck back to Pulaski for transport.
Dogs need only to be owned by a Giles County resident and do not need to be current on any vaccinations to participate in the spay/neuter day.
If you have any questions or are interested in signing up for this program, call Cindy at 424-5086 or Ruth at 424-5863.
