School Board Meets in Work Session

The Giles County School Board met in a work session last night to discuss the budget. Giles County Financial Management Director Beth Moore told the board that they are on track for a balanced budget.
The board also recognized that it is School Board Appreciation Week. Board members were given plates from the office of coordinated school health and thanked for their service.
The next meeting of the Giles County School Board will be February 14 at the central office on West Hill. It will be open to the public.
