The Girl Scout Cookie Program has helped girls learn invaluable skills, such as decision-making, money management and delivering on a promise. These activities are directly related to their mission of helping all girls realize their full potential and become strong, confident and resourceful citizens.
Each Girl Scout's participation in the cookie sale is voluntary. Most Girl Scouts enjoy the experience and look forward to taking part in these fun activities each year.
Adults monitor, supervise, and guide the sale activities for all age levels, and girls always use the buddy system.
A couple of new, technology driven programs are helping the Girl Scouts with their 70 year tradition of selling cookies.
