Rep. Marsha Blackburn to Visit Giles County on Thursday

Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn is set to visit Giles County on Thursday. She will be holding a Town Hall meeting in Elkton at the Elkton Community Room from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. She will be in Pulaski at the Giles County Tourism office from 11:15 to 11:45 and will meet with the Kiwanis Club at Legends Restaurant at Noon.
Although Rep. Blackburn has served in the United States Congress for ten years, due to redistricting, this is her first term serving Giles County. She is a member of the Energy and Commerce Committee, which has jurisdiction over health care, energy regulation, and telecommunications, and she has also led a campaign against a state sales tax.
