James Thomas (Tommy) Ervin "Poppa Smurf"

James Thomas Ervin (Tommy), or as some knew him (Poppa Smurf), age 75, died January 28, 2013, at NHC of Pulaski, TN, He was retired from Torrington Fafnir, attended Lynnville Church of Christ, graduated from Jones High School in Lynnvllle and served in the US Army.
Visitation will be on Tuesday Jan. 29th, 2013 from 4PM to 8PM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home.
Memorials service will be held on Wednesday, 1-30-2013, at 3PM at Lynnville Church of Christ.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Lynnville Cemetery Fund.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Burns Ervin,
2 daughters, Benita Ford and Cindy Jenkins of Nashville,
2 step-children, Nikki Rose Oliver and Jonathan Rose of Lynnville, TN,
3 sisters, Alice Woodard (husband Jack) of Lynnville, TN, Frankie Davis (husband Freddie) of Huntsville, and Betty Jo Clark
(husband Toby) of Columbia.
8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild along with many nieces and nephews and many good friends also survive.
Carr & Erwin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
